Solve mode is for solving puzzles that have previously been created in Design Mode.
In Solve mode you may enter in large or small numbers (values and candidates), or use some other tools provided on the toolbar, such as coloring cells in, bookmarking, checking, and getting a hint. Once each cell has the correct value filled in, the game is won and a congratulations message appears.
Use design mode to first create the puzzle.
