This command puts the data from the system memory buffer into the current puzzle as givens and erases all previous givens. These givens can be put into the system memory buffer using the Copy command.
The values '0' and '.' are read as empty values, and the digits 1-9 are entered respectively as givens. The paste command ignores all other symbols in the memory buffer, including spaces and line breaks. In this manner, the paste command is able to read most any form of raw sudoku data found on the internet.
If the data in the system memory buffer does not contain 81 valid characters, then the paste option is not activated and can not be used.
Below are two common formats (of the same puzzle) in which Sudoku data is found on the internet.

Try it for yourself. Highlight the values above from one of the formats, then press CTRL+C, and use the paste option in Sudoku Snake. A 'Hard' puzzle should appear.
